I am interested in ghosts and the paranormal. I also belong to a paranormal investigation group, East Tennessee Paranormal Investigations. I also have started a new hobby of photographing old gravestones. They are beautiful and so interesting. Here are a few from the Old Gray Cemetery the oldest cemetery in Knoxville. A lot of great and interesting history there.

My Detroit Redwing
..My little Detroit Red Wing is my Godson. This was his make-a-wish. This had been my wish for him since he was born on March 23,1994. To be my hockey player and to play with my team the Detroit Redwings. Of course I had never imagine it would have happened this way. We lost Damien Dean just over a year ago on May 30,2006. He had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He battled it for a little over a year. He decided to be an angel to watch over us. With a hockey stick of course. Buried in his Detroit Redwing uniform. My 4-Ever Detroit Redwing.
Stevie Yzerman, captain of the Detroit Redwings. Even though he retired in 2006, was on vacation in NY NY with his family, this wonderful person took time out of his day to call Damien, just a few days before he left us, to call and talk with Damien at the hospital. To ask how he was and to talk hockey again. This man will never know how great he made Damien feel, and I will never have the words to express how much this meant to me also. This was his idol. Yzerman was a name he knew from birth, and was able to say from a baby. So to Stevie Yzerman, you are Saint, you will always be in my heart and prayers. You are a truelly great man. You hear about it but I know for a fact that you are kind, compassionate, caring person, but most of all Damien's idol, The Ultimate Hockey Player. Live Well Stevie Yzerman.
My brother Michael is one of my heroes also. I think anything he does is great. Whether it is making movies or making music. He is just so talented he is my American Idol.
About me: I have been married since May of 2001 to Russell. We don't have any children. But we do have our 3 dogs, Gypsy Rose, Wiilow Von Vicious and Kasper Dean. They are our joy. We have lived in Knoxville since 2003 and loving it. I am a LPN and I work at Hillcrest West. Russell does high end decorative concrete and works for Adcrete Concrete.
These are our babies Gypsy Rose our 1st, she half shih tzu and half schnauzer making her a schnau tzu (she is the black one, Kasper Dean is the big white one he is our second he is pure schnauzer and being solid white makes him rare, and then there is my special baby Willow Von Vicious, the lil' white one she is Gypsy and Kasper's offspring. We love our dogs intensely and would kill over them. They give us such joy.
Of course I can't wait to see my Damien again and there are so many I've have lost in the last few years both young and old that I hope to see again. I would absolutly love to meet Ellen DeGeneres and of course George, George Clooney that is "yum" did I mention "yum" and the 40 yr old virgin himself Steve Carrell.

No it wasn't me this time. It was one of our kittens, Smudge, he was sleeping on the couch and evidently they thought he was part of the couch. LOL..... The cats were running and playing and Smudge ran over Bradley, digging his claws in all the way. I got him some Mederma, so maybe it won't scar.
