Welcome to the official PUNK REVIVAL! Punk began to storm into the industry in the early 90's and seemingly took over the industry through the decade. California bands such as Green Day, The Offspring, and Rancid paved the way in the 90's for great young punk bands such as Sum 41 and Blink-182 to emerge. Out of that many more punk bands started to make their way up such as New Found Glory in 1997. HOWEVER THIS MYSPACE IS NOT CALLED: The History of Punk in the 1990's...IT IS CALLED: PUNK REVIVAL...and that is what WE are going to do. Although punk rock music fans probably don't want to admit it, and neither do I but, Punk is dieing out rapidly. Emo bands seem to be doing most of the damage along with other hard rock bands and of course the rap/hip hop scene. If you love punk music and you want it back, topping the charts of the music industry, then join up on this quest to revive the punk world and BRING BACK GREAT PUNK MUSIC!
Here's some things i would like to accomplish with all of you:
- A tour across country with aspiring punk bands who are in the fight to revive punk music
- A "Punk Revival" clothing line
- A "Punk Revival" CD
- Punk Music Topping the charts of the music industry
- and much much more
Yes, a short yet very difficult list, but i know that with everybody's help we can do this. If you truly love Punk music whether it's alternative punk, pop punk, or just good old plain punk, you'll join the movement and we'll reach our goal!
P.S. : I'm looking for assistants, anyone who wants to get inside on the movement and help me run the whole thing. This person must be dedicated to the movement. They will be helping me with ideas, setting up events/shows etc. SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED MESSAGE ME!
