Recently, I won the award for "The Best" in all categories in the t.A.T.u fanart festival held in www.tatu-france.net/forum which was a BIG deal for me, I got this banner as an award + any CD I choose from t.A.T.u's online shop, I chose of course, "The Best" CD/DVD which Zwartkat, the admin of the forum told me will be signed :))
thank you so so so much for everyone who participated in my receiving this award, I am really proud of the story I wrote "Closer than Close to You" and glad that everyone understood it and welcomed this imaginary world I built in the story straight into their hearts...Ev & Jon, thank you above all...

I got the best birthday gift from my bestfriend, Ev and it's a note from THEE Yulia Volkova wishing ME a happy birthday...it was certainly the happiest in my life...
she...her hand...touching...pen...wrote my name..personally...from Yulia...to me...

everytime i look at it, it never fails to take my breath away...each time is like the first time :">
i would really love to say somethings that this peace of paper changed in my life, and maybe even style of life...
first, after i got it, i had the courage and pride in my name and almost write it everywhere. since most people end their emails or msgs with a nick name...i mostly prefere to write Abeer Rafie or simply Abeer. i have made my email abeer_abdulrahim@yahoo.com because of it too. i know it may sound silly to most of you, but it is a big deal for me!
and YEEEES this is the real reason i chose green for MySpace theme and website theme...Yulia chooses green...then green it shall be :D...i'm exaggerating aren't i? HELL NO!!! :P
also it's been a dark period and still is in my life. but after the note, things got better in the way i look at life. let's just say now i know she's real. coz we always put our idols and superstars in this category of the unreachable. we're almost into believing that they don't exist, and that they are like that movie about that virtual actress, that a guy created and no one has ever seen her live. only in movies then they find out the guy created her out of graphics and computer 3D techniques. sometimes i feel Yulia is like that. but each time i look at the note. i know she's real and out there :) makes life worth living!
i hope Yulia has a happy life, and i pray for it everyday. because that's what she does to me...
