This is a portion of the presentation I performed for students at an assembly celebrating cultural diversity and interconnectedness at a local middle school. During the performance the talented local drummer, Greg Lee, accompanies me. Together we are spontaneously blending rhythm and dance from around the world, demonstrating the incredible and beautiful ability of music and movement to transcend the boundaries of language, country, race, and time.
The Video here is of my performance on April 21st 2007 at the annual Isis Rising - Babylon Breeze Theatre Gala Show. Here I am representing the three main moon phases ~New, Half and Full~ During this show I am dancing in my third trimester of pregnancy with my fourth child. It was truly a special and beautiful event and I am extremely thankful and honored to have been able to be a part of it all...
