PH tiny update...christmas
We’re Pearl Heart from Florissant, MO and we’re all three sisters who love playing country music. We started our music career back in 1998. Courtney was eight years old, and Amy and Angela were eleven. We knew when we first started singing that this is what we wanted to do for the rest of our lives. All three of us started learning guitar in 2000; while we took lessons for a few months we later stopped and pretty much taught ourselves. Our old band name was Me Too and we played shows all over the St. Louis area and mid-south. We started developing a loyal fan base and we could also always count on our family and friends to come out and support us. Me Too played cover material for a long time but we longed to be better artists. In 2006 we started to write our own songs and it was then that we really started to find our own identity. We still have a few great cover songs that we love to play out to this day. Angela wrote our first original song. After that both Amy and Angela wrote most of the other songs with Courtney contributing when she could squeeze time between high school and gigs. We quickly learned that it was a lot more satisfying playing our own material and sharing with our audience the stories that went into each song.
We made frequent visits to Nashville playing anywhere we could and absolutely loved it. We knew at some point we wanted to be living in Nashville, but we wanted to wait until the right time. In 2006...that day came! Before we moved, we changed our name from Me Too to Pearl Heart, which by the way was the only name all three of us could agree .. more than two-years of trying to decide on a new name. Our parents, little brother Billy, and dog Chase picked up everything and moved to Nashville to pursue our dream. Once we moved here we started to write more often and Courtney started writing with us most of the time. We also started playing writers nights around town, meeting really incredible artists and made a lot of new friends in the process. It was hard at first because there are so many people in Nashville doing the exact same thing and it was very hard to try to distinguish ourselves. With so much competition we began to focus on trying to create a unique sound to in order to attempt to stand-out from all the other great performers in town.
2008 was a life-changing year for Pearl Heart. We were blessed to be selected from over 45,000 contestants to be finalists on NBC's Nashville Star. The show was an amazing experience and resulted in us meeting some great people who will now be our friends for life. Being on the show, we got to meet singer/songwriter/producer Jeffrey Steele. We were already fans of his but during the show we were fortunate enough to have him as our mentor and developed a great working relationship with him. Now we count him as a treasured friend that we aspire to be like as artists. Since the show ended we’ve been working with Jeff, finding songs, writing songs, and learning about the music business. He is seriously one of the coolest, laid back, most down to earth guys on this planet! We feel so lucky that we get to work with him. Pearl Heart signed a production deal with Jeff’s label called 3 Ring Circus Records and Jeffrey is going to produce our album. Right now we are in the process of writing as much as we can, recording rough tracks of songs we like, finding songs from other writers; it's kind of pre-production for the real thing. We are going to start recording for the album in late March, early April. So hopefully we will have it finished by late summer or fall.
Our parents and brother have sacrificed so much for us, and we want to thank them for moving us here to chase our dream! Thanks for believing in us!

Happy Holidays to you. Be well. I've read that the holidays can be very depressing to some. If you know someone like that, share this with them :)
1 of the most effective "natural cures" ever documented (really) 4 depression...
Have them stand in front of a mirror...smile...bigger...no, even bigger...that's it...an honest to goodness ear 2 ear smile! Look at you...standing there...strong...powerful...nothing is impossible for you...no limitations...you are the earth...you are the sky...and they are you...now, laugh...bigger...one of those gut bursting, side hurting, deep belly laughs...that's it. :)
I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:

Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
