Phillipa Joy, originally from Brisbane, Australia, has been travelling the world for just over eleven years with her 12 string guitar. She has played both solo shows and with bands in places such as Ireland; England, including Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival; Mexico, Costa Rica, The Netherlands and Australia.
Her music can be described as mellow ambient folk. More and more she is collaborating with electronic producer/djs in the studio with her floaty vocals.
Some of the past projects have been: Live with strings in Ireland with Marmalade cello, having a good time singing and dancing with the electronic beats of Friends, Lovers and Family (FLF) based in London, co-ordinated by Larry Lush and Natstar. Previously part of an electronic duet Global Spirit (with Phased Reality) performing live in London Bridge nightclub SEOne. Recorded duet with Pollyphonic "Voodoo Guru" and has appeared with folk singer, Texan "Spyche" live in Melbourne, and gigs all over with spanish guitarist Dave White, UK.

hi Phillipa! Great to hear from you! Unfortunately NO Australia por moi... Just back from a cople of weeks in Israel ;-) Had a fab time !!! Upon arrival the temps dropped from 32 (Israel) to 8 degrees (NL)... Oh well and on we go! An Ocean drive!
