CURRENT SONG PLAYING:
"Talk About The Passion" by R.E.M.
Music
Seether
"Should I grow another shell
in which to live?
Should I grow another shell
and not forgive?"
10 Years
"Love in time grows stagnant
the innocence we have lost
new grains of time
will not rewind..."
Nine Inch Nails
"I think I used to have a voice
now I never make a sound
I just do what I've been told
I really don't want them to come around..."
Black Light Burns
"You cannot reason with
the one who wears the crown
So they leave us with no choice
but to shut this engine down..."
Björk
"There lies my passion, hidden
there lies my love
I'll hide it under a blanket,
lull it to sleep..."
Movies
American Beauty
"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and...this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember...and I need to remember...sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in..."
Stand by Me
"Vern didn't just mean being off limits inside the junkyard, or fudging on our folks, or going on a hike up the railroad to Harlow. He meant those things, but it seems to me now it was more and that we all knew it. Everything was there and around us. We knew exactly who we were and exactly where we were going. It was grand..."
The Shawshank Redemption
"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free..."
Forrest Gump
"I don't know if Momma was right or if, if it's Lieutenant Dan. I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time. I miss you, Jenny. If there's anything you need, I won't be far away."
Television
Six Feet Under
"Everything in the world is like this transmission, making its way across the dark. But everything- death, life, everything- it's all completely suffused with static. You know? But if you listen to the static too much, it fucks you up..."
The Amazing Race
So You Think You Can Dance
Avatar: The Last Airbender
"I used to think this scar marked me. The mark of the banished prince, cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny, even if I'll never be free of my mark..."
As pessimistic as I can be sometimes, I always strive to see the good in people.
I tend to put up a five-foot lead wall in front of those who I don't know or feel uncomfortable around. It's a mere habit of my nature, and that's all.
Thought is both my uplifter and my downfall. It makes me question, it makes me fear, it makes me imaginative, it makes me tear...but it makes me alive.
If I had to choose between either enduring a lot of pain for pleasures, or going through nothing at all…I’d take the pain and pleasures. In the end, it’s worth it.
Although nature is the ultimate craftsman of art and beauty, I do have to give credit to some of the things that people have achieved. It amazes me how much talent there is in the world.
A turning point in my life was a simple car ride 3 years ago. I guess the subtleties in life are what hit the hardest sometimes.
I’d like to think that I’ve made a difference in just one person’s life.

Check out these artists who I've lately had great interest in:
& i know, that song is badass. haha I had already heard it, but i forgot how much i liked it until i saw it on SYTYCD. ;) Which speaking offf, that chick Kayla is my favorite so far, i think. haha She's pretty awesome... must be the name. hehe! ;3
anyway, not a whole lot goin on lately. hoping to start work again soooon, but other than that just tryin to enjoy the rest of the summer. how 'bout youuu? we'll have to talk soon or sumthin. <3
Yeah! I love the lyrics. I'll be listening to more of them soon. I've been searching for new bands all day because I'm sick of most of the bands on my iPod.
that was before i got my hair cut even shorter. my faux hawk fell down quickly 'cause i don't have the best gel, and my hair was too long............. but NOWWWWWW... MWUAHAHAHA! i might be able to make a faux hawk that lasts all day. :3 i'm excited!!!! ;sldkjf;lksjd;lkf
i'm such a boy, it's stupid.
p.s.
look at/listen to my music player on imeem! <3 they have way more songs than myspace, they let you listen to the full songs, and it's just overall BETTER.
so i just realized that it wasn't alerting me when i got new comments for the last few days. AWESOME! haha ok well i def. wanna hear all about prom. where are pictures!?!??!!??! haha. for sure though on what you said about graduation. like all year i was like, "dude, i can't wait to get out of this craphole and move to a city with 40,000 undergrads at my college, 15,000 post grad students and another 10,000 or so at the community college right down the road!"....and then the week of graduation i was like fml, i don't wanna leave, and all year i wished it would go faster, and now i wanna go back and relive senior year. hahahhaha it sucks. i almost cried at work the other day cause i had one guy telling me how much he's watched me grow up the last couple years, like a little sis to him. and another guy telling me how he's only known me for a few months but i'm like a daughter he never had and he's gonna miss me so much... and then another guy.... idk it's all so surreal. how far is your college from where you live now? it's in state, right??
I'd be way more excited about Trent than senior prom as well. I'm pretty sure a trip to the dentist's would have been more exciting. You have fun, enough fun for the both of us :P
yo. I don’t have a flickr account (yet?) so I haven’t commented on those new pics, but I still wanted to let you know that I think they’re all awesome. :) I absolutely love the one of the fountain! I think its my faaavorite. It looks like you used a slower shutter speed? Whatever it was at, I love the effect it had on the water! Ahh, and the lighting/contrast too. <3 haha Also love the “you cant reach the light” and “Do Not Enter,” and the "purple iceflake"... hehe. That looks like a pretty cool place to visit. :) Makes me miss traveling...
anywho, when and if I get a flickr, I’ll be sure to comment them appropriately. ;)
Hey girl! I got a new phone and was wanting to use some of your awesome shots of 10 years as a background. Will you please comment me that link to the ones with your bad ass camera?
No problem! I enjoyed quite a few of the songs on that list. Passive is one of my favorite APC songs also. I heard that Maynard and Billy have been writing stuff together again, so there's a possibility that some new APC songs might come out some time soon. I hope they do a tour, since I haven't had the chance to see them.
But yeah, I've been pretty good lately! I saw KoRn a few nights ago with my sister, at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ. That was a good show. I was surprised by how many older songs that they did. Lots of songs from self-titled and Life is Peachy. Oh yeah - did you hear about the instrumental project that Fieldy from KoRn is doing with a bunch of different musicians? All the money from it is going to benefit Chi from Deftones family, since he's still in a coma. So yeah, the project features Fieldy and Head from KoRn, Clint Lowery from Sevendust, Ray, who is the current drummer of KoRn, Jim Root, who is the guitarist of Slipknot, and a few more people. Can't wait to hear what comes out of that!
Hey there! Thanks for adding me. I'm jealous you're going to see NIN next month - I tried to go see a show earlier this month, but I couldn't get anyone to go with me and I'd hate going alone.
I'm happy your listen to them they have helped me a lot also in crazy moments you know, I totally loved them.
their lyrics are really amazing and deep! but i hope your feeling better right now, school is almost over so i guess your gonna have one less thing to think about it at least for a few months.
