Committed to Innovation, Politic Live is a pioneering hip-hop trio that continues to open doors for Alberta hip-hop. Through opening for the likes of K-Os, Planet Asia, and The Game, appearing on ZeD TV and having songs listed as Canadian Choice Cuts on HipHopCanada.com, Music For Mavericks' flagship artists have propelled to the forefront of Albertas budding hip-hop movement.

In addition to touring across Canada, Politic Live are the first Edmonton-based hip-hop group to perform at both Peg City Holla (2002) and Canadian Music Week (2004). Politic Live also made history in 2005 when they became the first Edmonton-based hip-hop group to shoot a music video on 35mm film. The video for the song, entitled The Matinee, catapulted the group even further onto the nations music scene when it penetrated MTV Canadas Top 10 spending 5 weeks on the chart, where it peeked at ..7.

Politic Live are presently promoting their sophomore release, Adaptation. Adaptation features Politic Live's new music video, "Block O" featuring Oozeela which is presently in rotation at Much Music. The video explores elements of a block party, while paying tribute to the group's West Indian background.
