Red Menace were a Canberra rock band that had 22 songs, 78 riffs, 481 lyrics, 2 demos, 1 EP, 17 haircuts and played twenty-odd gigs between 05 and 06. We had a total of four (4) members but remained a 3-piece throughout. In late 06, things started to get hazy and for some reason we stopped all forms of musical activity. We went our separate ways; namely the UK, the workshop and the kitchen, but despite this we never officially broke up. Fast forward to Jan 09 and not much has changed. Anyway, we were lucky enough to play with some fucking cool bands (see below) and had some extremely nice people (Rich, Salad, Stu, Syar, Julian, the Leyshons, Tess etc) be extremely nice to us. So thanks to anyone who showed even the slightest bit of interest. Feel free to download our songs and play them to your children in the hope that they too will sing like a crazy person.
Also, a big sorry to anyone who has tried to contact us on myspace..
