In many ways, Reno Chinati is the quintessential male solo rap artist. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, he began listening to the Hip Hop artists Rakim, LL Cool J, Slick Rick and Common at a young age. Inspired by these artists he joined a crew called “ Inner Cirkle” formed by prolyfic (producer, for Lupe Fiasco). Being in a crew helped him to develop his quick thinking and clever rhyme patterns. It was not long after that “Chicago Hip-Hop Scene” started recognizing this young talent. Reno Chinati’s live performances are entertaining his unique story telling style is engaging keeping the audience hanging on his every word. 106 JAMZ a local Chicago radio station broke Reno Chinati’s first record “King of the Road” produced by Prolyfic (Lupe Fiasco’s label) Soon after his radio debut he began appearing on several national mixtapes, opening up for major recording artists and working with well-known producers such as NO I.D. Recently his new single “Ghetto Girl “ featured on WGCI ‘s personalities Teefa’s Roc da mic show and the Diz show “the Come up” where local talent have the opportunity to debut their music.
