Welcome to the Rio Grande Valley Adult Baseball League Myspace page! Check out or website @ http://naba.statdepot.com/RGV. Thanks for your interest in the Rio Grande Valley Adult Baseball League. The RGVABL is currently in the initial stages of development. We are currently in the process of obtaining quality local baseball fields for our games. Once we obtain baseball fields, we will begin to recruit local certified umpires. Then the process of recruiting players and managers/coaches begins. This will be accomplished through local advertisements such as newspaper ads, posters, fliers, website and the most valuable to us, word of mouth. Once we obtain a sufficient amount of interested players/coaches/teams, we will then hold a player tryout where coaches choose players to fill spots on their rosters and where new teams can form with remaining players.
Everyone will get a chance to be on a team with the RGVABL. League fees will be required. A player can expect to pay anywhere between $125-$175, which includes league fees, 15-game schedule, medical insurance coverage, field fees, umpire fees, possible All-Star game at mid-season, and Championship game.
