In Matthew 4:18-20 it states, "And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men'. They immediately left their nets and followed Him". The young ministers have traveled to many different cities and venues spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Youths are blown away by their high energy performances & adults are amazed by their dynamic quality of ministry.
Reel Life ENT was created in May 2007 by Courtney 'Big-C' Johns. The mission of Reel Life is to act as a thriving artist development platform and a living-breathing ministry for urban ministers of the Gospel. Our goal is to reach into every possible form of entertainment with the intentions of using it for the up building of the Kingdom of God, through the ministry of reconciliation.
The name "Reel Life", is derived from Matthew 4:19. We are fishermen of men, and we use our gifts to reel in the lost and restore them with a REAL LIFE through Jesus Christ. Our music has a very southern delivery, but we maintain a high level of lyricism and topical relevance. I was reading Joshua 24th chapter
God gave the people of Israel rest from all their enemies. In his farewell address, Joshua reminded the people of God's bountiful grace & mercy. He gave the Israelites command to help the avoid falling into most likely areas of temptation.
We must resist the temptation to sin and live in loving obedience to God.
Hold to His hand God's Unchanging Hand...build your hopes on things eternal... Hold to God's unchanging hand... I LOVE THAT HYMN! Do we find it hard to keep a grip on our day-to-day dependency on Christ? Or worse, have we lost our grip? When we feel we don't need to depend on Christ, we won't... Our natural tendency is to depend on self, not Christ. Depending on Christ is an act of the will by faith, not the natural reaction of our heart. God has the power to give us what we deserve, whether good or bad. I have come to fear, with reverence and awe, the God who is, for He is a consuming fire.
Have our abundant resources kept us form depending on God? have we lost our grip on God's help? Focus on a special need that only God can meet. Seek His help today and everyday...HOLD TO GOD'S UNCHANGING HAND!
