RooM began in 2004, when Gael, Juan and Txetxu joined Nacho and Guille’s project, introducing new textures into its music, thus defining the band’s style. In April of 2005, RooM made its onstage debut with a earth-shattering show at Swell in Leganes. From that moment on, the band gained experience and played many more shows at such venues as Ritmo y Compás, Lasala, Sala Heineken in Madrid or El Tren in Granada. In late 2005, they went into the studio to record their first 'official' demo, produced by Michel Martín. As a result, 'Terminal Disease' was released in April, 2006.

In July, 2006, they reached 2nd place in the National Final of the internationally renown Emergenza competition. Three months later, they played at the National Final of the Global Battle of Bands. In April of 2007, RooM went back into the studio, this time with Cesar Berzal (Monkey Do, Sintesis, Doggo…) to record their debut album “Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt”, which was released in March of 2008. Just prior to the release of "Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt" Gael chose to part ways with the band due to personal issues. With only 4 members, RooM carried on playing and writing new material, during which time they invited Eric Day to join the band. Being a quintet again meant the beginning of a new era for the band…

RooM comenzó cuando a finales de 2004 Gael, Juan y Txetxu se unieron al proyecto de Guille y Nacho, aportando cada uno diferentes criterios e influencias que irían puliendo el sonido del grupo. En abril de 2005 RooM se estrena en directo, en un potente debut en la sala Swell de Leganés. A partir de entonces, con cierta regularidad en cuanto a frecuencia de conciertos y público asistente, la banda va ganando tablas en los escenarios de salas como Ritmo y Compás, Lasala o Silikona, en Madrid, o El Tren, en Granada. Hacia finales de 2005 entran a grabar su primer trabajo "oficial", en los estudios de la escuela CEV a los mandos de Michel Martín, obteniendo como resultando el EP Terminal Disease, que verá la luz en abril de 2006.

En julio de 2006 RooM alcanza el segundo puesto en la final nacional del concurso Emergenza, y tres meses despues se ganan un hueco en la final nacional de la Batalla Global de las Bandas. En Abril de 2007 entran en el estudio de grabación de César Berzal (Monkey Do, Síntesis, Doggo...) para grabar su álbum debut “Nobody move, nobody gets hurt”, que verá la luz marzo de 2008 bajo el sello Lengua Armada. En Mayo Gael abandona la banda por motivos personales, quedando la formación con 4 miembros de manera provisional. De esta manera mantienen su actividad tanto en directo como en el local de ensayo hasta la entrada, en Diciembre de 2007, de Eric Day a las guitarras. La vuelta a la formación de quinteto supone un nuevo impulso a la banda…

RooM begann 2004, als Gael, Juan und Txetxu Nachos und Guilles Projekt beitraten, um neue Einflüsse in ihre Musik einzubringen, die den Stil der Band definieren. Im April 2005 gab RooM mit einer welterschütternden Show im Swell in Leganés sein Bühnendebüt. Von diesem Moment an sammelte die Band Erfahrung und spielte viele weitere Shows in Lokalen wie dem Ritmo y Compás, dem Lasala und dem Sala Heineken in Madrid oder dem El Tren in Granada. Ende 2005 gingen sie ins Studio, um ihre erste "offizielle" Demo aufzunehmen, die von Michael Martín produziert wurde. Als ein Ergebnis wurde "Terminal Disease" im April 2006 veröffentlicht.

Im Juli 2006 erreichten sie den 2. Platz im nationalen Finale des international bekannten Emergenza Wettbewerbs. Drei Monate später spielten sie beim nationalen Finale des Global Battle of Bands. Im April 2007 ging RooM ins Studio zurück, dieses Mal mit Cesar Berzal (Monkey Do, Sintesis, Doggo…), um ihr Debütalbum “Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt” aufzunehmen, das im März 2008 veröffentlicht wurde. Kurz vor der Veröffentlichung von "Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt" entschied Gael aus persönlichen Gründen, dass er und die Band unterschiedliche Wege gehen. RooM spielte mit nur 4 Mitgliedern weiter, schrieben neue Texte und lud Eric Day ein, sich der Band anzuschließen. Wieder ein Quintett zu sein, bedeutet der Beginn einer neuen Ära für die Band…
