Bandleader, composer, songwriter and sax-player Michael Blicher has always loved and been influenced by great songwriters. Inspired by Tom Waits, Neil Young, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Radiostar is all about playing great songs, acoustic soulfull sound and a great love for the saxophone.
Our debut album(released april 2007, features vocalist Marie Fisker on 3 songs.
The album was recorded 4 days in june 2006. Everything was recorded on a oldfashion tape-recorder to make a warm and glowing sound. This has especially made the drums sound really amazing.
We are so happy that you are now able to hear Marie Fisker. Her voice fits the music perfectly.
