HURT
Where is God when we hurt? Where is He when sleep won't come? Where is He when we awaken in a hospital bed with pain that won't subside? He's right here! He hung on the cross to prove once and for all, with pierced hands and bloodstained face--that He's here---that He didn't create the hurt, but He came to take it away.
When you hurt, God hurts with you. When no one listens to you, God listens to you, When you whip away years of loneliness or frustration or anguish, in the heaven there's a pierced hand approaching a heavenly face wiping away a tear.
Sometimes storms of life come to teach us that God is in control, that we must lean on Him and learn to be thankful for the richness of His blessings to us.
We should serve God even if there is darkness enveloping our life and even if we don't understand what's happening...even when the circumstances of our life don't make sense: Because He is worthy of praise, because He is GOD!
Praise God, from whom all blessing flow. Praise Him all creatures, here below. Praise Him above Ye heavenly host. Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost! GLORY! HALLELUJAH!

God says that the more hopeless your circumstances, the more likely your salvation....LOL! aint' that good news, for those of us going through...LOL! The greater your cares, the more genuine your prayers.....The darker the room, the greater the need for light....
God's help is near and always available, but it is only given to those who seek it....
Faith is more that a belief in God. It is also a way of life. The examples in this scripture although imperfect, trusted God and gave their lives to Him...*smile*
God has never rejected a genuine gesture of faith....NEVER.....I know I can get a witness on that! LOL!

I'm gone start this off by letting you know.....The Lord is slappin me ALL in my head as I type this and when I read it! LOL! Ouch!
A strong rain storm in an area suffering from drought doesn't discriminate. All receive the benefits. The same can be said for the sun. It bathes all homes alike with warmth and light. Why? Because God is love. Grace is His style...*smile* That's why Christ would minister to graciously to those who hated Him. Love and grace prompt the rain to fall on ALL the ground and the sun to shine on ALL the homes. For love to replace hate and grace to replace prejudice, playing favorites have got to stop! (That's for "church folk...") Love and grace shows up in those who are Like the Father.....
Then how far do we take this love-your-neghbor stuff? Do we love Atheists? Yes! Scoffers? Yes! Criminals? Yes! People that do me, I mean you wrong...LOL! YES! Love, remember, sees the soul and focussed/s on the heart....
Demonstrate your love for God by showing love to those who are difficult to love...

Satisfied? That's one thing most of us are not....
Some examples: We push back form the Thanksgiving table a pat our full bellies. "I'm satisfied" But look at us a few hours later, back in the kitchen pickin' more meet from a bone..
We take vacations of a lifetime. For years we planned and saved, and off we go. We lay in the sun, have fun and eat good.... But we are not even on the way home before we dread the end of the trip and begin planning another...
As a child we say, "If only I were a teenager." As a teenager we say, "If only I were an adult." As an adult we say, "If only I were married." As a spouse, "If only I had kids." As a parent, "If only my kids were grown." In an empty house, "If only the kids world visit." ect....until we are wishing we were young again.....LOL!
Most of us are not satisfied. Contentment is a diffucult virture. Why....?
Because there is nothing on earth that can satisfy our deepest longing. We long to see God....
God statisfies us because He holds all the power and protection we need. Trusting Him brigns contentment.
Enjoy your age, job, friends and lifestyle, When you are tempted to be dissatisfied, pray, "God help me to find my contentment in you." God's will, God's way and God's time... *smile*

Proverbs 3:1-35 God promised to guide those who obey and trust Him. Those who obey must actively explore God's Word.
Depend on God in every part of your life, and He will guide, protect, and comfort you.
Jesus told His disciples that He was going away and would send someone to carry on for Him. This one would be a Comforter, a Healer, to remind and to guide. If He wasn't supposed to guide us in all things, how would we know when He was guiding and when He wasn't....? If I'm in tuned to You, Jesus, I'm guided by you in everything I do... Wow!!!
Is your life like a hotel, with certain rooms marked "DO NOT DISTRUB"? Open those rooms to God. No matter what your role in life or your occupation, live every aspect of your life to honor God.....(smile) You are and will be blessed even more richly!!!! Praise God for you! (smile)

God allows tough situations in our lives in order to refine us and bring us closer to Him. We should approach these times with a right attitude and seek wisdom from God.
When you want to know if any kind of melon is ripe, you thump it. The character of a person is also checked by thumping...Thumps are those irritating inconveniences that trigger the worst in us. They catch us off gard. How do I respond? Do I sing? Or do I thud? Jesus said that out of the nature if the heart a man speaks (Luke 6:45) There's nothing like a good thump to reveal the nature of the heart...The true chararacter of a person is not seen when we are being heros...but in the thump-packed humdrum of day to-day living...
How do we respond when we are "thumped" from people at work, school, family, or people at the grocery store? Our initial reaction during these times reflects who we are....What responses need to change....? Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend! ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...
This chapter hit me like a ton of bricks...Mark10:1-52
To serve others rather than to be served best exemplified Jesus message to humanity. People, then and now, often hoped that others would meet their needs. We coommited to things like marriage and trust in God as long as they seem convienient. Giving up personal freedoms, wealth, and status to serve others is too great a price for many people.
Don't let money stand between you and God, You can't buy a ticket into heaven, you only have to ask in faith. Think about the rich value of our father throughtout the day....(smile)
He tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His rightousness and all these "things" will be added...
Less of me and More of Thee!
