Started out singing solo at the young age of 14, years ago, Ras Adam soon were one of the roots 'n reality singers of Denmark. He sang here and there with his young sound Yute Rockers in many venues in Copenhagen. From the start with his conscious singjay style he sang songs of consciousness , the love of the Most High, and the holy revelation of Rastafari. Which is not widespread in Denmark. He started recording some tunes himself, but was soon accepted to record tunes in different studios with different producers. So now, years after his young debut on the scene, he has worked with several producers and sounds, including One People Prod., Alec Burton (Reggaehagen), Moa Anbessa (Italy), RebelYouth Family and Congoman Crew (Sweden) and Infirmary Sound. Through the times he has been backed live by Selector Morten Ska (Yute Rockers), but also bands: U-Squad, Action Taken, Splif Click – and recently his own backingband, ready for full liveshows in 2010. Since may 2009 Ras Adam founded his own studio, Highly I, in which he has grown as an artist and producer, and in the future, many new tunes will come from there. Ras Adam's tune “Oneness” produced by One People is out on Itunes and other stores on the Internet. And there are many other tunes to be released, tunes of upfulness, teaching and joy. All works are made through the inspiration of the Most High. At this time, Ras Adam works on his full length album including danish, international and own productions. Maybe to become one of the first conscious new roots singers in Denmark to release an album. The album is set to be released in 2010.
