This is my *first* YouTube video - taken at the Wesak International Film Festival 2008 in Malaysia! I normally perform seated, so this is a bit unusual.
In June 2008 I left for my first international tour - three weeks in Malaysia, beginning with opening the Wesak International Film Festival (www.wiff.org.my), which was *very* exciting and also a bit Exhausting. Check out the photos in my "pics".

I'm in my early studies at the moment, but this Friday night I'll be beginning classes at the Van Duc Temple here in Biloxi. It's the only temple in the area because we have a sizable Vietnamese population here, but not much else. In the meantime I'm reading as much on the various traditions as I can (a bit of a slow reader), and have read "In My Own Words" and currently reading "How To Practice: The Way To A Meaningful Life", as well as a couple books on Buddhism in general.
I'm sure the traditions of Tibet and Vietnam probably have some marked differences, and I look forward to learning more about the tradition of the local Buddhists here as well. ^_^
Green Bodhgaya is a multidimensional project uniting ecology and

Buddhadharma tradition where the Buddha awakened 2500 years ago.

Eco literacy for adults but especially for the youth, trough the
implication of schools and youth’s movements.
How we will proceed ?
By joining forces together Practically, Green Bodhgaya proposes to the
five hundred million Buddhists, to all Buddha’s followers, and
ecological supporters worldwide to plant ‘Wishes Trees’ with positive
intentions for the life of our Planet and all its inhabitants: A tree
with life insurance and free life wishes for 5 euros By joining similar
network Green Bodhgaya would like to spread and to connect with similar
trees planting initiatives. Green Bodhgaya Project will function
basecally on a website centralizing global information and fundraising:
