REAL BE EASYS MEMBERS Evan Jaffee - Guitar, Vocals
Born: Great Neck, NY
Evan credits his older brother Brian who played, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, and the Doors. through the house during at all hours for his musical influences. Evan devotes his time to writing, creating, playing, and thinking about music.
In 2004 Evan recorded alongside a world class rhythm section consisting of Anton Fig of the David Letterman Late Show Band, Pete Cannarozzi and Tinker Barfield of Ashford and Simpson, and Lorenza Ponce, violinist for Bon Jovi, Dixie Chicks, and Sheryl Crow. All tracks were mixed by Kevin Shirley, renowned for his work with Aerosmith, Journey, The Black Crowes, and Led Zeppelin and mastered by Tony Gillis; both at the Hit Factory in NYC.
Evan is a resident of NYC’s East Village.
Paulie T - Bass, Backup Vocals
Born: Brooklyn, NY
Paul’s early taste in music was formed by his parents. Being around the ground-root sounds of the Grateful Dead to the pop-rock fashion of U2, developed a universal respect for every genre of musical composition. While in Junior High School, Paul received a bass guitar on which he rocked out to more modern bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers while remaining loyal to the revolutionary music of Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Paulie T. took lessons with John Sheppard.
Leighton Haniff - Drums, Backup Vocals
Born: Queens, California
Also known as California Leighton, his experience and dynamic set him apart from all the rest. A silky smooth flavor with an MD in Funkamism. An air tight groove of defined strokes separated by razor sharp walls of silence.

Sounds Like
A funky, old school take on a brand new Power Trio. We love grooving on anything that rocks, no matter what genre it falls into. We funk it up sometimes, and we jam it out sometimes. We let the music take you where you need to go.
Everyone’s true personality comes out in their playing. Your instrument becomes your voice and exposes a truly unique point of view. Three real easy guys from New York City give people music that begs you to be real easy. Songs people can relate to about outlandish themes targeting their hearts, minds and funny bones, but leave their tear ducts in tact. In a world where girls want to dance, and guys want to bop their heads and bump the bass, Real Be Easys are the providers.
Evan (Vocals/Guitar/Loud/Crazy) tells it like it is, while Paulie T. (Bass/Quiet/Very ill) has a profound ability to play it like it is. These two elements are provided a steady livid platform by drummer Leighton, a cat with a steady hand and California feel.
The Real Be Easys have a unique pulse of chaotic thrill that melds the influences of the raw, energetic, youthful Red Hot Chili Peppers with the classic ingenuity of Led Zeppelin, the psychedelic phase of the Beatles, the new wave funk of David Byrne, the hallowed reverb of Pink Floyd, the rhythmic kick of Nirvana and the soul funk flavor of Curtis Mayfield.
