About me:
Situated in the interesting market town of Rothwell, the red Lion was oigionally erected but then demolished and re-built in the 1800s.
rothwell is a traditional market town with a long history, its market charter was granted in 1204. This event is traditionally celebrated the Monday following Trinity Sunday, or the Spring Bank Holiday as it is now known, when the town becomes crammed with visitors from all over.
The Red Lion Hotel, one of the oldest buildings in Rothewell, is both a mix of contemporary and rustic design. It has 7 en-suit rooms which are all fully furnished and equipt with wireless internet access.
It is a friendly local establishment welcoming people from far and wide, with it's and charm, exhilerating characteristics, home cooked meals and real ales.
