Back when Renzo was seventeen, before he had made any real contacts in the music industry, he was perfecting his craft as a songwriter, singer, dancer, and performer while attending school and working part-time jobs. The crooner started singing and dancing at a very young age and began honing his skills and performing in his mid-teens. At the end of his senior year at of high school, Renzo was voted "Most Likely To Become Famous". His peers saw it in him from the beginning and he is proving them right. Renzo has been through every aspect of the industry; from a back-up dancer, to a choreographer, modeling, acting, now a singer/songwriter. Beside capturing the audience with his flawless dancing skills, behind the scene he has written songs for many artists on indie, independent and major labels and is beginning to work with some of the hottest producers in the music industry. Renzo penned a deal with Warner Records that later fell through.
With his soft soothing, soulful, vibrant voice and seemingly limitless vocal range, his songs are creative and alluring at their best. Renzo's debut album will be a versatile display of this pivotal, multi-talented artist. In his single "Number One" Renzo displays his skills as a balladeer.
“Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a singer and dancer. I would sing songs like Stevie Wonder's "Lately" and my father would look at me like, is this really my son singing! He said he thought it was the radio if I was in another room” Renzo says. Virginia bred, he’s performed not only in the U.S., but also overseas in England, Thailand, and many countries in South America.
Renzo ultimately wants people throughout the world to vibe to his music. His star look and undeniable singing, dancing, and ability to captivate his audience have captured the attention of many indie labels, several major labels and managers. Renzo credits Brian Mcknight, Donny Hathaway, Maxwell, and Stevie Wonder as his major influences.
