The studio band for TRUCKERSPEED AND OTHER VICES, consists of Skillet Glimore (Whiskeytown), drums....Caitlin Cary (Whiskeytown), violin....Marc E. Smith (Snatches of Pink), guitar....Mike Tutt, bass.
The studio players for WHISKEYBENT AND HELLBOUND, consists of Eric Hemmens, bass, Erica Avila, drums, and Rhoades D'Ablo, guitars and vocals.
The tracks were recorded in New Orleans with Rhoades D'Ablo producing and Neil Krauss (Ace Frehley, Cheap Trick, Black Oak Arkansas) engineering. The CD was mixed in Memphis, by Rhoades D'Ablo, with Neil Krauss assisting.
THE WAIT and PRIDE, recorded in Joshua Tree, Ca. with Dave Catching and Rhoades D'Ablo producing.
The 2 tracks from the Joshua Tree sessions feature members of KYUSS, FU MANCHU, THE SEA HAGS, THE SPORES, THE DISTORTIONS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, and THE EAGLES OF DEATH METAL.
The last "live" incarnation of this debauchery was J., Kristin and Furley from the Austin Twangcore trio; SABBATH CROW. The band was laid to rest after D'Ablo joined MATT BEGLEY AND BITTER WHISKEY in 2007.

Rhoades D'Ablo formed the Devil's Right Hand in May of 2004, after leaving New Orleans goth merchants; ROCK CITY MORGUE,( featuring Sean Yseult, on bass), which D'Ablo was a founding member. Rhoades D'Ablo's quest for the perfect marriage of old school country and punk rock was the foundation which the band was built.

July 2004, finds the band releasing "TRUCKERSPEED AND OTHER VICES", on L.A. based indie, Statue Records. The CD met with international acclaim, and the critics and fans agreed....this IS Cow-Punk!!!!

"WHISKEY BENT AND HELL BOUND"
the second CD, was unleashed on the unsuspecting public, in January of 2006. This CD was recorded in 3 booze- soaked daze, in New Orleans and mixed in a 12 hour whirlwind. Rhoades D'Ablo and the Devil's Right Hand, teamed up with Memphis based TETRAGRAM RECORDS, and the result will remind you of Iggy Pop's "Raw Power" meets Steve Earle's "Copperhead Road".
There are new songs released on FIRESTORM RECORDS, "The Wait" is one track which was recorded after Hurricane Katrina in Joshua Tree California. The track was produced by Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age) and Rhoades D'Ablo. The song features the drum work of Brant Byork (Fu Manchu, Kyuss) and F (Sleepmask) on pedal steel. Just click on the FIRESTORM banner to the left and order.
You can also get "Truckerspeed" from an ANTIDOTE RECORDS compilation.....but hurry, that label went belly up!
