The artist name is Rico Skyline the genre of music he performs is Hip-Hop & R&B. Rico Skyline produces writes, raps, sings, and arranges all of his music. Rico is originally from Queens, NY but resides now in Manhattan, NY. He was born on June 18, 1986 by a mother who is Originally from Cuba and is Cuban and A father who is Black-American and was born in New York City. Rico started producing music when he was 16 years old. Originally his main passion was production.. He always had a strong interest in singing and rapping down the line and constantly wrote stories to enhance his Story telling abilities and never wanted to limit his musical potential. He always had in mind to be a "jack of all trades" and not settle on focusing on just one aspect of music production because he felt that one aspect be it production writing or rapping could always enhance and strengthen another aspect of his music. At 22 years old he got behind the mic seriously and started teaching himself to rap and sing by listening to other musical artists as well as doing the tried and true method of rapping and singing over his own material. At 23 he found out that his talents in productions opened up the right opportunity for him to start rapping and singing and he has gotten praise from many people around him and the listeners of his music that “he has a distinct unique sound and that unique sound is enjoyable but at the same time catchy”. His unique sound would in fact be the sound of sounding unique literally, himself over the beat. Never trying to carbon copy another artist but just admiring all artists in the Hip-Hop and R&B musical game of entertainment and putting his own flavor to his musical sound creating great sounding music. He yearns for the day that his wide-spread appreciation will in fact turn into an opportunity to sign with a major label which then would in turn lead him into living his dream of making music and entertaining on a world wide level type basis.
