River James was born Jan 11, 2007 in Sedalia Mo. at 2 lbs 3 oz & life flighted to Childrens Mercy Hospital in KC, Mo where he spent the first year of his life in ICU. He was sent home with Prematurity, Bowel Perforation, Gastroesophageal Reflux, PO feeding difficulties ( feeding tube. ), Oral Pharyngeal Dysfunction, Hypertonicity, Anemia, Gallstones, Pain Management and failure to thrive.
River now weighs 27 lbs and is 2'9'' and is healing
Thank you to God, Mom ( up every two hours 24 hrs a day changing feed bags and administering meds ), Rivers physical theripist Jesse , service coordinator Heather, Christine and the loving staff at Childrens Mercy Hospital and Rivers daily nurse Rhonda, also to the Ronald McDonald House for the food and shelter. PSALM 107 Give thanks to the Lord for His mercy endures forever.

Hello, my friend! I apologize for not getting back to you sooner...there has been a LOT going on in my world since we last spoke. LONG story short, my father past away last Sunday after a sad, sad three week ordeal, so I have not really spoken to anyone that I didn't HAVE to. Now all I can do is allow God to work his healing magic. All prayers are welcome!! Love you , miss you, brother! Talk to you soon!!!
