2009 was an exciting year for the Rivol Revue. As guest musical artists they appeared on the nationally syndicated “Mike Huckabee” show on the Fox News Channel and had the honor of performing one of their original songs with Gov. Mike Huckabee and the Little Rockers. They made two national appearances on the CBS News Radio show the “Big Talker”, one at CBS News Radio Headquarters in Dallas and the other at a live remote in Philadelphia, PA at the world famous Geno’s Steaks. They were written up by the Washington Post, who declared their song “Big Fat No” the anthem for healthcare reform and their Youtube sensation “Press One For English”, now with over 13.5 MILLION views, was recently referenced in an article in the New York Times Magazine. Glenn Beck touted their song “U.S.S. of A.” which they had the immense honor of performing on the lawn of the U.S. capital in Washington D.C. at the 9/12 rally, as well as their song “Big Fat No”. They performed shows in Nashville, Branson and Las Vegas and they toured with the Tea Party Express I and II, which covered 78 cities. Along with their other music they were honored to perform their song “Freedom’s Not Free” honoring fallen heroes and veterans all across this great nation. “Freedom’s Not Free” has been used to celebrate Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day at events and on radio all across the country.
