The name "Dragon Seeks Path" was derived from a quote in the Bruce Lee film "Return of the Dragon." DSP represents the adaptation of progressive thinkers seeking the next level of enlightenment. We strive to use these principles to reach new levels of improvement in our playing and writing.
DSP formed on the drumline at East Carolina University in 2001, composing in a broad spectrum of styles from rock and funk to state of the art progressive metal.
Influences: Megadeth, Dream Theatre, Alice in Chains, C.O.C., Racer X, Les Claypool, Parliament, Tower of Power, Steve Vai (and other G3ers), Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, and a stupid amount of others...
This is probably Christopher Lee's last album: he will be 88 soon - although with his energy, he might well reach 100!! :)
