Having noticed his interest in music from a young age, Rob Bates, dubbed 'The Giant Killer,' continued to grow, and now, the short guy with a big heart and a tall sound, has found his way to the forefront of the 2008 National Red Bull Big Tune producer competition. Hailing from the Chi, his influences have been fellow Chicago producers by the likes of Kanye West and No I.D. with influential sound inspiration from producers like Dr. Dre, and Jus Blaze.
