Roger Samuels is considered one of Britain’s finest gospel vocalists. During a short period of time he has risen to nationwide prominence and has shared a platform with some of the world’s leading gospel artists, including Kirk Franklin, Bishop John Francis Alvin Slaughter and many more.
He has also performed at some of the UK’s biggest gospel events including The Oasis Awards, Britain’s premier gospel awards event; Praise in the Park, the largest outdoor gospel event to be held in the UK and Gospel Gathering, one of the biggest gathering of UK and US gospel artists to ever be held in this country.
His soulful voice has won him plaudits in a wide range of circles and in 2006 he was nominated for a Best Newcomer Award at the Oasis Awards. In the same year Roger released his EP ‘Born To Worship’ in Canada featuring the songs ‘You Are Worthy’, ‘Lord We Come To Praise You’ and ‘Seeking Your Face’.
The message and quality of his voice has yielded invitations to minister at some highly esteemed gospel conferences and concerts throughout Britain, such as Morris Cerullo ‘Mission To London’, BBC’s ‘Out Of Africa Exhibition’ and Bishop John Francis’ ‘PPP Conference’.
2008 promises to be a successful year for Roger. He is a featured artist on the New Sounds of Worship, a compilation album that will be released by Integrity Europe later this year. He is also set to appear at the Barbados Gospelfest, one of the biggest gospel festivals held in the Caribbean.
Roger Samuels aims to be a bridge between the gospel community and the wider world, with a positive musical message to share that will uplift and inspire hearts.
