| General | If you go to my website at www.cowboyartist.net you'll see that I enjoy painting. As well as hunting and fishing, I enjoy prospecting for gold and gems. | | Music | I play guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass and other things with strings. I enjoy traditional bluegrass, the old time country music, big band music and the real early rock 'n' roll. | | Movies | A movie has to really be something special for me to sit all the way thru it. The only movie I can think of that I enjoyed was "The Rounders" with Henry Fonda and Glen Ford. | | Television | I watch the news, which I realize is mostly propaganda with very little truth mixed in. About me:
I am a dinosaur, a misfit, a throw-back to earlier time. A time when most folks were honest and their word was their bond. Oh, I know there are still folks like this around but they are mighty few and far between.
I believe honor is a gift a person can give themselves. When I look at myself in the mirror in the morning I know I've treated my fellow man honestly and fairly. Not like a great many people who look in the mirror, throw out their chest and boast how they "beat" someone out of something. True, they may have gained materialy but it is a hollow victory. These individuals are nothing but leeches, parasites that live off their fellow man. This is true whether they wear a suit and tie or their hat on backwards.
I abhor foul and vulgar language. When I was growing up the men didn't cuss in front of women. Today the foulest, most vulgar language is not only used in front of women but sad to say by women. No Respect, no honor, no intregity.
As you might have guessed, my circle of friends is quite small and that suits me just fine. We all have the same basic beliefs of honesty, our word is our bond and we respect each other. If you want to be my friend you'd better have these same values. If you don't then get out of my sight. I want nothing to do with you.
