In January 2003, the dreams of creating a melodic metal band that would transcend all musical boundaries was realized. Rosenguard began to write a collection of songs which would define human emotion and experience from their point of view. After several demos and one E.P., the band reached a defining moment in the release of it's album, "Requiem For The Innocent", released in 2007.
In 2008 the band reached another milestone in it's career after being asked to join the lineup of the West Coast leg of the "Bound By The Road Tour", featuring Instinct of Agression, Straight Line Stitch, the reunited SNOT, and Devildriver.
Rosenguard's current lineup includes an eclectic mix of musicians from all over the world. Tomek Spirala, a native of Poland, is the band's lead guitarist. On the bass guitar is Nenad Lazic, originally from Serbia. In 2006, vocalist Nick Rogers and drummer Garrett Scanlan (of famed Chicago death metal legends Lividty and Evil Incarnate) were added to the band, further cementing an emerging new style. With this lineup of talented professionals, Rosenguard has already begun making waves throughout the world with it's unique brand of melodic metal!
