music-drum & bass-just about anything with break movement & soul is what i'll be listening to & playing-no cookie cutter shit :)
aside from d&b, what i have enjoyed listening to lately: ulrich schnauss, duffy, P.I.L., high on fire, electric wizard, j davey, yellow sunshine, kamaal the abstract, souls of mischief ('93 til...), thin lizzy, j-live...uh...damn...the solid steel podcast...and nicole willis.
i dig so many different styles of music & i am surprised at where my ears take me on a consistent basis.
Movies
the last handful of films i've seen:
the apple touch of evil
brick
the texas chinsaw massacre
jesus' son
the filth & the fury
pump up the volume
the miles davis story
avenging disco godfather
24 hour party people
Television
lately i've not been watching much tv. which, i think, is awesome.
Books
white line fever (lemmy from motorhead bio), the world without us, rock on: an office power ballad, world war z, stiff: the curious life of cadavers, to kill a mockingbird, how my heart sings (bill evans biography), coltrane by porter, david sedaris, zombie survival guide, all i did was ask, pledged: the secret life of sororities, can't be satisfied (muddy waters biography), high fidelity, blink, assassination vacation, 2012, the return of quetzequoatl (sic) ...that, coupled with my obsesive reading of the onion's av club articles...i read a lot.
Heroes
john coltrane, my parents, people who bring beauty to life, people who fight the good fight, people who produce and push forward creatively.
i'm open minded-as long as you have your shit together and you're a nice person, it's all good in the hood.

I made a collage to share with my friends. God I love kittens, sometimes i think about them too often and get overly excited and gleeful when a kitton is anywhere in the vicinity. I swear that if it was possible for me to give birth to little cats I would actually have a bunch of kids right now. Anyways, at the Tampa theatre there is an indie film from Sweden called "Let the Right one in" about young swedish vampires and is a touching coming-of-age romance, albeit a dark one. I say that sounds like cause for an outing....
Oh the hloidays were dandy. Maine's good, the cold, snowy, and icy weather is delightful. I love busting my ass on the icy sidewalks at least once a week. Its o.k.though cause winter will be over in 3-4 months. Im going back to school this semester at the Unversity of Southern Maine. Im actually pretty excited. what about you? How's Tampa?
You kitten may look like Dexter but can it fly across the room in hopes of catching an imaginary object and return back to attack your knee in a single bound?
YO SEANIE! It is about one year old....which is nothin compared to me. I have 32 years now! I have decided to use the direct spanish translating - to have years vs being old! try it on for size.
I will be in Florida around the christmas time....any chance we can all muster up something that looks like a reunion?
