Hero?..without a doubt my dad. My dad was a
complete all around bad ass. Hardcore Marine that fought and kicked major ass in World War II..
fighting in the Japanese Martial Islands..Tinian,
Saipan, Roi-Namur and of course the grand daddy

I'm a 36 year old drummer born and raised in the Detroit area. With no formal training, aside from watching and learning from my older brother, I play and learn everything by ear... couldn't tell ya what a paradiddle is to save my life. I do want to learn that stuff sooner or later. I came up through the 80's hair explosion, jammin with bands such as Downriver Detroit's own..Equinox. After cutting my long hair in 1989, I've realized there are more types of music out there other than metal and rock... after a friend introduced me to a Dave Weckl cd (Master Plan), I was sold. Although I'm very much into jazz and other styles, Rock will always be my #1 passion.
Other interests?... hmmm.. well, I studied and taught martial arts (Isshin-Ryu) for about 13 years or so and hold a 2nd degree black-belt.

Wow man i just check out your Drumming your bass ass i bet Tim herb got a run for his money thats cool i never met the Man just Les claypool but last month i met Neil peart the guards said no pictures but he said to me HAve a good evening and got in a black cab and Alex said OK ill get a picture with you because my brother and i snuck backstage with the work crew and sure enuff we met them for a second or 2 but neil is like seeing GOD i only wish i had snaped the photo Oh well next time ill move you up my list next to neil your a great drummer HAppy B day man......
