Doro Joins Saxon Live in Sheffield, UK!
DORO joined SAXON on stage in Sheffield, England last night (Thursday, April 30th) for a rendition of '747 (Strangers In The Night)'.
A message from Doro reads:

The Saxon tour has been going great and it's been a pleasure to once again share the stage with this legendary band! A special thanks to Biff, Paul, Nigel, Nibbs & Doug for having us along!
We've met so many cool fans already and they've really been making the shows a blast for us.
Also, a shout out to SWEET SAVAGE... great lads from the Emerald Isle who've been doing their share of ass kicking as well!"
In constructing this new album, legendary rock icons UFO composed more than 35 new tracks in advance of hitting the studio, 13 of which were short-listed and produced at the studio, and 10 of them making the final cut. The final product; the band's new album, The Visitor.
The current UFO lineup continues to consist of the three original members, Phil Mogg (vocals), Paul Raymond (guitar, keyboards), and Andy Parker (drums), as well as American world-class guitarist Vinnie Moore. Bass legend and original member Pete Way is currently suffering from a liver disease and was unfortunately not available for the studio production.
"All those who have been into UFO for a long time will find all our characteristic trademarks on The Visitor, and anybody new to the band will be impressed by our enthusiasm and dynamism," frontman Phil Mogg enthuses on the subject of the new songs. The Visitor sees the band benefiting especially from their collaboration with Vinnie Moore, who joined UFO in autumn 2003 and has made an excellent impression on the albums You Are Here (2004) and The Monkey Puzzle (2006), and on the band’s tours. Mogg continues,"Without running down previous UFO lineups, it's been a long time since we had a team as strong as this one. Vinnie contributes his youthful energy and amazing guitar technique, and in Andy's return we've seen the reappearance of a musician who has always been very important to the band's original sound."
UFO's "The Visitor" is in stores June 2nd, 2009.

KREATOR'S 'HORDES OF CHAOS' VIDEO WORLD PREMIERED ON HEADBANGERS BALL!
"Hordes Of Chaos," the new video from German thrash kings KREATOR, made its world premiere Saturday, February 14, on MTV2's Headbangers Ball.
The clip was shot in November in Berlin, Germany with acclaimed director Jörn Heitmann, who has previously worked with Rammstein and directed the clip for the title track to KREATOR's previous album, "Enemy Of God." Bandleader Mille Petrozza commented on the new video earlier this month on MTV’s Headbangers Blog.
Headbangers Ball airs from 2am to 3am on MTV2.
KREATOR will embark on a six-week US tour with Exodus beginning April 7, 2009.

- his first tattoo: In 1973 in Dayton, Ohio when he was in Hawkwind. It was a marijuana leaf, which he's since had covered up because it looked like "a pizza with wings." It's now an Indian shield.
- the biggest tattoo disaster he's seen: A friend of theirs was getting "Born to Lose" tattooed on her arm, and the guy was about to spell it with two o's - "Born to Loose." Lemmy saved her just in time.
- some wild Motörhead tattoos he's seen: Says Lemmy, "A friend of ours in Germany has his entire back covered with the logo and he's got us tattooed on the sides of his head and chest. He's got our faces on the calves of his legs." Now that's a fan!

Motörhead’s “Motörizer” Makes Big Debut on Billboard Charts!

For a band with a history that spans three decades, it is a challenge in itself for Motörhead to live up to even their own previous achievements. However, 2008 proves to be a huge year for the Grammy award winners. With the August 26 release of “Motörizer”, Motörhead has broken their own sales records and Billboard top 200 chart debut history!
