Music (making and listening), trying to keep in shape.
Music
Mostly energetic rock (The Clash, The Who, Ted Leo), old country (from Hank Williams to some funky early 80's countrypolitan stuff), southern soul and r&b (STAX, Muscle Shoals, Specialty, etc.), Brill Bldg. styled pop (Neil Diamond, Petula Clark) and some modern indie just to keep myself hip.
Movies
My favorites typically include Se7en, The Last Picture Show, Lawrence of Arabia, Blazing Saddles, All Quiet on the Western Front, The Blues Brothers, Slap Shot, Hope & Glory, 24 Hour Party People, Road House, Wild Things (don't give me crap about those last two) and a few others.
Television
I make time to watch Entourage, Heroes, Flight of the Conchords, The Office, My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, Scrubs, the Colts, the Packers, IU basketball and football.
Books
I don't read as much as I should. Make some suggestions.
Heroes
As I get older, my heroes are the people that cast aside conventional life and comforts in pursuit of a dream or art. I wish I could've been so bold.

Steve's Companies
Wiley Publishing Indianapolis, IN US Executive Editor Dummies Tech
About me: My job = I work for a publishing company where I hire authors to write tech books.
My hobbies = obsessing about keeping fit and losing weight, determining when to shave my head or face, playing music in two bands and maybe more in the future, figuring out what I'd do with the money if I won the lottery, exploring the vast reaches of the Internet, trying to spend as much time with my friends as possible.
My family = a wife, a cat, a dad, and a collection of friends, some related by blood but most not, that I consider my family.
My home = a 50+ year old dwelling in Indianapolis near Glendale Mall (or what used to be Glendale Mall). We don't have walk-in closets or a garden tub, but we can walk to the movie theater or Lowes or a handful of friendly pubs or a really cool live music venue, our neighbors are friendly, and we have a really cool patio with a small pond in the back yard. So we like it.
Who I'd like to meet: I keep this page to keep in contact with other MySpacers I already know in the real world. I tend to deny bands I've never heard of or that don't have one of my friends as a member.. If you're in a band and want me to know you, send a friend request to my band's page - myspace.com/commonrock.
So, are there particular songs you use to work out one part of the body and others to work on another? I've often thought that "Get the Fuck Off the Stage" could really help improve one's obliques. What do you play to work on your wrists?
Let's go Colts! Beat those lying and cheating Patriots. Smash Tom Brady's pretty face into the RCA Dome turf. Show them who the reigning champions are. I so wish I could be in Indy today...
