Family, especially grandkids and great grandkids. I love camping, sewing, crafts, painting( mostly sceneries, acrilycs and oil) writing childrens stories and poetry, reading, gardening and last but not least,my latest hobby..my computer and my space. Create Your Own!
Music
I love music. I mean real music .I love opera, classical, country (especially old country) Techno, you name it, except for most rap and heavy metal. I guess it just depends on the melody and the beat.
Movies
Television
I don't watch much television, but I do like Extreme Home Makeover and Desperate Housewives. I usually end up watching cartoons with grandkids
I am a proud mom of six and grandma of 16 (counting step grandkids) and eleven great grandkids (also
counting step great grandkids.) and they ARE all great and beautiful. I feel I have been very blessed with my family. They all grew up to be really nice people. I think I would like them even if they weren't mine, and if I had younger children, I would let them hang out with my grandkids. I enjoy spending time with my family, doing crafts, oil painting, writing childrens stories, going out for breakfast ( and dinner ),dancing when my knees don't hurt too bad, and of course, my computer. Oh, yes, and traveling, when I get a chance. I still work a full time job, so I don't get to pursue a lot of things I would like to, but all in all life is good and God has been very kind to me. The only thing that could be better is if I could afford to retire. Ha ha.
Who I'd like to meet: People from all over. I love learning about other states, other countries, other customs, etc. Also, people from Phoenix; People who graduated or went to school in Phoenix in the 1950's, people who have been in the A.F. and have been stationed at Luke AFB (1955)Fairchild AFB(1957-59)
Larson AFB, 1961-63; Anderson AFB(Guam) 1963-64; Luke AFB '64-'65
Well I keep telling my nieces and nephews the same thing...to think about what kids will most likely be dealing with. Could you imagine if no one had any more kids??? I know it won't happen...It's raining here! Better than snow!!! :)
Ya...I agree about things only getting worse and eventually to devastating times for all. People need to stop having kids...I mean...look what they will be facing, most of them difficult times and that is sad :( But then...no more babies would mean extinction of humans...and we would end up like Mars...a planet with no life~ Ok...just my views. 5 below...brrrrr...
The picture on the left was taken about two years ago. The picture on the right was taken about 2 weeks ago. I lost the weight over the past 4 months. I appreciate you commenting on it!
Usually anything in blue letters is a link that you click on. Yes...very cold here too...went out last night to mail some bills...and that wind!!! So strong! In the single digits here too which makes it even colder. This strong winds for the past 4 years is really making me wonder about our earths orbit path and maybe we are actually moving a direction in space too besides just spinning in the same spot. I think science is not doing a good job with things and keeping up...there is a reason! Never used to get these kind of winds and not nearly as often...Try to stay warm! Hope our little one's are more warm blooded than us...they have to deal with the future beyond ours~
Oh it was a typo. I meant to say I'm ready ready let it blow. I got My back up power supply ready to go.. I have battery back up. I can go for a week without power.
~UPSIDE DOWN APPLE SKILLET PIE~
Ingredients
1 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling
2 cups pre-sliced apples
1 refrigerated pie crust
2 tablespoons apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Combine the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, apple pie filling and sliced apples in a large bowl.
Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet or oven-proof pan over medium-high heat, and add the pie filling. Once mixture begins to bubble, unroll pie crust over skillet. With a wooden spoon, push down edges of crust into pie. Cut steam slit in crust and brush with apple juice concentrate and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool 1 hour before slicing.

I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch with many people. I've had and am having problems with my computer. But when I went to her page it said "account deleted due to 90 day inactive". I hope all is ok with her. Let me know if you find out anything.
