After many mutations as a band, Subdroides really started when Oliver finally met Carlos (again) at the Bio-Bio Flea Market in Santiago, Chile, where they made a verbal pact to make music. Subdroides music swelled from their bedrooms, playing acoustic guitars, dreaming, borrowing instruments and finding ways to record multiple tracks with one tape recorder. Their music is about feelings, night dreams, about experimentation with less traveled sonic routes, and just the pure excitement of making a few chords sound good.
