MySpace a place for friends

Doug Cartwright and John Fenwick, aka Rechazado, come from very different musical backgrounds - Doug is a schooled guitar player, a master of everything from electric to classical guitar, with a background in music theory, John is an out-there experimentist with no clue what he's doing and little regard for harmony, melody or even rhythm - who share a love of extreme heavy metal and all things twisted and weird. Their love of things out of the norm is what brought them together to make Sacrament.

Sacrament formed back in February 2004 when John and Doug first recorded together, making the now out-of-print EP 'Hot From The Australian Scene'. This basic and frankly crap EP was a suprise sucsess and the lads have been looking foward to getting back in the studio to make something a bit better. Finally in 2006, Sacrament have announced a new CD, this time a full length album, is in the making. Titled 'Monstrous Euphoric Noise' (also the name of a covers band the lads formed with some friends for fun), the record is eagerly awaited by fans and followers of the Swanage music scene in general.
