On the Flickr Global Peace Global Healing site (www.Flickr.com/Groups/GlobalPeaceGlobalHealing) we share images depicting the entire spectrum of our experience here on earth - from the most tragic to the most uplifting and healing, with the purpose of seeing what is, and being inspired to be part of the change: Social, Economic, Political, Psychological, Environmental, and Spiritual Ways of Healing Our Earth and All Our Relations. The Film Connection .org accomplishes this same purpose through a free lending library of DVDs, with the encouragement to share the film and discussion with up to 15 others (non-commercial use). Below: WAR DANCE Movie Trailer: 30,000 Children Were Abducted from Northern Uganda and forced to be soldiers and kill; their parents were slaughtered as they watched. At one school in the Ugandan war zone, staff work with the youth to prepare for the National Ugandan music and dance competition. This is the story of the 20 year civil war, the youth, and those who love and help them. This is an incredible tragedy turned to hope and celebration. The youth and staff of War Dance MUST meet AfroReggae from Brazil who are featured in the film, Favela Rising. They both come from unbelievable violence and adversity to break open and heal our hearts; to give us hope; to inspire us to heal the earth and all our relations.

Mena…Hey, my name is Raymond, welcome to Embera nation. It’s probably difficult for many of you to make choices on the internet as there are so many options, but now that you are here know my words are from the heart.

With respect that comes from my commitment under God, from learning from my mistakes, and wanting to do right, is born this feeling of being involved in pursuit of the common good. It seems that most of my life has been following a path set out before me, giving attention to the Great Mystery, learning about how Creator has meant for us to live. The value of what I am about to share with you only works when we realize the need to come together as one people.

My stay in life has shown that modern society has failed to support our most basic need, spiritual development. This is due to our distance from God, to our apathy, to our separation between our minds and our hearts, from who we think we are, and who we are really. In the prayer of my life I have been blessed to know people who remember. This is what we need to do:

Remember that true meaning comes from within. It is not what has been put before us in the written word, the mass media, or the incomplete history that many believe without question. I want you to know that drug and alcohol addictions, cancer, diabetes, and AIDS, has been cured in patients that my wife has treated with traditional Embera medicine.

This is such a blessing for humanity, but what good is this message if you do not believe in it? Have faith my friend; at least accept the possibility of this.

So, what am I asking for? Am I asking for your money, or maybe I want to make some? No, there is too much money already. We need to learn how to share what we have with others. To look at money as we should a natural resource in service of the needs for all, that we return our need of love to our Mother, to our Creator, to ourselves We should fight against injustice so that there will be no need for poverty.
