San Jose UNICO's Blurbs |
About me:
San Jose UNICO is a non-profit 501.c.4 organization. We are the San Jose, CA chapter of UNICO National, the largest Italian-American service organization in the USA.
UNICO members are all unpaid volunteers. Our chapter hosts a number of events during the year. Our current fund-raising events include:
- March/April: Crab Feed fundraiser (with much more than just crab)
- June: Picnic fundraiser (all you can eat, games, & contests)
- October: Dinner-Dance fundraiser (live band, food, wine, and more)
All proceeds raised are given back to the community. We identify and distribute funds to worthy causes in Santa Clara county. A small sampling of the causes we support include:
- Alzheimers daycare facility
- GoGetters handicapped bowling league
- Santa Clara Valley Medical Center toy drive and Santa visit
- Scholarships

If you are interested in finding out more about UNICO, send us an email using the link on the left. We hold our monthly meetings the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in Sunnyvale (just off of 237 & Lawrence Expwy).
