Well today is a different day and well just thought to stop by and see what is new with you Demons, and How have you been? Have not heard from you for awhile and was wondering? I am absolutely dismayed as to the reasons behind the shutting of Capitol...
Myself and Mandy love working there & we have worked really hard to make sure that every band that comes to OUR venue is treated well & has the best possible sound.
We really do care about Capitol, we look after our kit and the venue to keep it in the best shape we can, putting in LOADS of extra UNPAID hours just to try and make it a cut above the rest of the crap out there in Glasgow, and i think everyone, ourselves, you guys the musicians & all of the great promoters have succeeded in building something rare & special, a venue that actually gives a shit!
I seriously hope G1 will see that this is something worth saving, not just for the sake of a couple of jobs, myself's and Mandy's - but for the sake of the whole Glasgow music scene. If you've ever played at Capitol, had a good time and been treated well, don't be lethargic if you're sitting there reading this - all it will take is two minutes to leave a comment on the Capitol myspace supporting the cause & hopefully we can swing it!
