Standing at 5ft 2inches, 25 yr. old Jamaican vocalist Stacy Ann Grant, p.k.a. Sexycats is a devoted traveler who has used her unique dance and vocal talents to burn down a multitude of parties in JA and also in Trinidad. She has an original vocal styling, as she is equally skilled in both singing and Dj-ing. However, she is not just comfortable being labeled a female sing-j. She attributes her dancehall styling to the hip-hop background she was raised with. She believes both hip-hop and reggae (dancehall) are cousins that need to be closer. As she sets the stage for an international debut, she knows she is ready to show the world, there are no limits where she is concerned. She just hopes the world is ready for her risqué performance, unique sounds and material. Sexycats knows She will be a strong force in Jamaican music, but she plans to take the trendiness of everything Jamaican and solidifying it on a more permanent basis by exposing the world to the most unique talents that Jamaica has to offer. Her Creativity as an Artist will all be utilized into making her hopes and dreams come to reality. She strongly believes that an artist voice is just another instrument in the production of a song. Sexycats is also a talented writer with her creative ideas in making music more creative. This mentality will keep her focused on gladly making all the sacrifices it usually takes to make it to the top of the Entertainment industry. Her Personal aim & Philosophy is to maximize her potential to the fullest and she believes that with the right attitude any altitude can be obtained. Some of her musical influences are Damian Jr. Gong Marley, Sean Paul, Shaggy and Beenie Man. However, she has set her sights on being an even more diverse performer.
