Dear fellow ThrillerBabies,
In the wake of the recent sad news of the death of our beloved Michael Jackson, the world has not only been affected, but as one can imagine, so have we. It has been painful digesting the everyday day-to-day developments of the story, but nothing has been more painful as losing the man himself; our King of Pop.
The man who wrote the book from which the ThrillerBaby word was first coined, JOSHUA CRAWFORD, has been in mourning, along with the rest of the world, but has also felt compelled to share his obligations to the thrillerbaby generation in a more massive format … to prep the world for what is soon to come. Therefore, an OFFICIAL THRILLERBABY TWITTER page has just been launched in an effort to give up-to-date facts on Crawford’s intentions as to what to do next, given the nature that Twitter seems to be the rage right now in helping to deliver Crawford’s own agenda in a more timely manner than MySpace can currently do.
As one can imagine, Crawford, the singer-songwriter of over 500 unrecorded songs of his own, and the author of SIGNATURE PLACE, the 3-part epic-novel he wrote for his generation in the 1990s, coining the word THRILLERBABY in the process as far back as 1994, has been inundated with emails, phonecalls, and heavy sadness as both he and us, the thrillerbaby team, grieve over the loss of what will perhaps be the most popular and most influential figure of the 20th century, and our generation. So forgive us if we postponed any future updates here on myspace, but rest assure, the time has come to rejoice in the talents of not just Jackson, but what Jackson’s music was able to do for our generation; US; the THRILLERBABIES. Though to relieve Crawford’s burden of carrying his entire generation on the weight of his shoulders (along with the weight of his own heart in which so many of you are well aware of) which he has so often done with pride for each and everyone one of you, he has asked us to state that in order to communicate with his generation on a more massive scale as opposed to just email-to-email and person-to-person formats, he has asked us to state to you, the ThrillerBaby generation, that official postings on the ThrillerBaby TWITTER page by both him and US, will not begin until the page reaches at least 1,000 followers, as this will allow Crawford’s intentions for not only his own music and art, but more importantly, his book SIGNATURE PLACE that documents the ThrillerBaby generation in massive detail and was the first to do so, to fully disclose itself to its audiences without having to repeat such intentions on both myspace, and facebook, and other numerous social networking sites. Please take into consideration that any mention of Crawford’s goals is never official, unless it is mentioned on the www.ThrillerBaby.com website; in which the Twitter page now will be, once this email goes out to each and everyone of you at this very moment.
Signature Place, the 900-page 3-part GONE-WITH-THE-WIND-for-KIDS 1980s epic that Crawford painstakingly spent his entire 20s writing throughout the 1990s over the course of 8 years (only to find that no one in the publishing industry wanted to even publish it at the time, as they felt that it would have no target audience, just as the music-industry felt with Crawford’s music!), has, as you can imagine, suddenly received a recent new and almost overwhelming interest. And though we, and Crawford, are extremely sad that this recent high intrigue for the book and Crawford’s music has been suddenly jetfueled by Jackson’s unexpected death, we are more than happy to prepare to be capable to share this much-talked-about book on a more massive scale. Afterall, it not only pays homage to the trials and tribulations that our latchkey generation had to go through with being the 1st generation to have been raised under America’s 1st escalated divorce-rate that was caused by all our BabyBoomer parents, it also pays homage to Jackson’s influence ON our generation, and in return, on the world.
Though as mentioned, due to Jackson’s death, it has been hard to get excited about the book that eventually became THE MOST REJECTED MANUSCRIPT IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE PUBLISHING INDSUTRY once it was completed in 1999 … yet literally COINED the word THRILLERBABY for the entire generation born between 1965-1980. But as the days have progressed since his death, and as our energy levels have begun to rise again in an effort as to figure out what the proper next step for us is to take, we wanted YOU, our followers on myspace, to receive the very first invite to our Twitter page, in respect for you having added us to your friends-list so long ago. And that is all Crawford has allowed us to say for the time being, other than to say that as soon as the Twitter Page reaches the 1,000 Followers mark, Crawford’s intentions with what to do next are sure to follow. We realize that getting the Twitter-page to 1,000 FOLLOWERS is going to take some time, but we also feel responsible to not only the many Jackson fans of the world, but more importantly, to our specific ThrillerBaby generation here in America in which Crawford pre-dated by about 15 years and first coined the word in 1994 way back when he was just barely 20 years old. And we want to be able to communicate in a much more less-complex format than interacting with everybody individually. Though as of right now, we will continue to use MySpace to the best that we can, and of course, will always take emails in the order that they’re received , we realize the massiveness of this most current unexpected news of Jackson’s death, has suddenly put an overnight requirement on our part to be able to communicate in a much more simplistic format. Therefore, we, and Crawford, urge you, our loved ones here on MySpace that have hung with us over the years, to sign up for the Twitter page ASAP, and to extend the invitation with anyone whom you feel will listen! For the quicker the number of the amount of Followers reaches 1,000, the quicker we can announce our next step as to what Crawford’s intentions are; for as you can imagine, many of wondered, and we are well aware of this.
Yet, in light of Crawford being perhaps THE MOST REJECTED ARTIST OF HIS GENERATION in which he literally coined the name THRILLERBABY GENERATION for, we won’t be discouraged if you care to make everybody ELSE wonder along WITH you! The more the word gets out, the better. And THE MOST PASSED AROUND DEMO WITHIN THE MUSIC INDSUTRY is of course on iTunes for those of you who don’t know.
Just enter JOSHUA CRAWFORD and PLAY ME and he pops right up. But knowing you, you probably already knew that.
Again, this letter is being presented here exclusively not on www.ThrillerBaby.com, but here on myspace first, under Crawford’s wishes; as he is very devoted to the many Jackson fans of the world, but he is also very devoted to the many fans of his own who were the first to believe in him, his talents, and his purpose … long before both the music industry and the publishing industry ever did and perhaps ever will. And feels they need to be offered the news of the Twitter page first, before everybody else catches on, but also knows that by doing such, perhaps they will in return get the word out, and thus everything will come into play with what we, as a generation, should do next.
So again, we urge you, ask you, and acknowledge you to spread this news of the Twitter page to all who will listen, and though it may take some time, once we reach the 1,000 mark on our FOLLOWERS numbers, Crawford will then orchestrate us on what to do next.

We’d like to think that we are now picking up the torch were Jackson left off.
And we, along with Joshua, are more than honored to do so in an effort to share with everyone what Jackson meant to not only the world and our specific generation in which Crawford foresaw and coined the name for, but for our entire universe.
Afterall. Music is the universal language in which we can all speak.
And both Jackson and Joshua shared, and continue to share, this common gift and interest. For as you know, much of Crawford’s music was inspired by Jackson’s work, as was Crawford’s novel; SIGNATURE PLACE.

We love all those site, just like you, and will continue to embrace them as Crawford sees fit in the days to come, but for the time being, we want to try to gather you all in one place in a more larger format than just myspace. For as you can imagine, our generation represents quite a few more people other than those that are internet friendly. People of all races, creeds, colors, cultures, and disabilities.
Please also be patient with the ThrillerBaby.com website, as due to the recent nature of world events surrounding Jackson, the site has, from time to time, experienced overloads and need for modifications. We will be working on fixing all problems within the next few months, and like each of you, our thoughts and prayers go out to those that had Michael’s welfare and best intentions at HIS best interest, not theirs.
Particularly his children, in which we know, will continued to be prayed for, along with our entire THRILLERBABY generation in which Crawford coined.
