For one because alot of TV is mindless, mind numbing, and addictive. Most of it is also very unrealistic and gives people false expectations. | | Books | Years and years ago I was into horror. Then I got into fantasy, which got me into reading Dungeons and Dragons. Poor me, back in high school, I literally spent all my free time reading books. In fact I read thousands of pages worth of books. Looking back I feel like it was a total waste of time since I hardly learned a thing from it all. Now (last 5 years or so) almost all I ever read are books about health and nutrition topics. Including stuff on how the body and mind function and all the chemicals in them. I also like to read about environmental topics. I am not saying I will never read a novel again, but well. The only series I would at this point even consider reading would be the "Wheel of Time" since I still have a few books left to read that I never read. | | Heroes | Mike Adams |
