Sleep Terror was created by Luke Jaeger in 2002. The first Ep entitled 'Paraphile' was released that year. In 2003, Luke met drummer David Pinochet. They played their first set of shows in and around the Puget Sound during the summer of 2004 after a year of intense practice. The cult following and general response was overwhelming. That fall, the self-titled Ep was released which paved the road for the band's unique sound and style. In 2005, Luke and David relocated to Sacramento and did a couple west coast runs prior to releasing the even more progressive and sonically ear-splitting Ascetic Meditation Ep that summer. In 2006, a successful entire U.S. tour was embarked. A hiatus ensued thereafter due to growing long distance-related factors upholding. Currently Luke is penning material for a 2010 release with the aid of Indian musician Vishal Singh of Amogh Symphony as the project has taken on an entirely new vibe and sound. Stay tuned...
I really dig the new tunes, I think its a nice depature from the standard Shred that ST tunes use to have. It's cool to change things up, they sure have a different edge to them.
Wow you all really switched up your sound. But hey, you gotta do what you wanna do. I Posted Some New Songs with more to come if anyone is interested. Keep on Rockin the way you want.
Understandable with the member thing, good to no you wont lower the standerds :) Also am still amazed that you are unsigned ? ..with the music scence these days, i supose i shouldnt be surprized, although i think this transition could change that. Keep up the technical brilliance and all the best with the new album !
i dig it. the old stuff and new. there is nothing cooler than mashing as many styles and influences into your music. more hypens the better. keep it up, dude. shit!
