It all started back in 2001 with "Battle-Freestyle Records" at a benefit concert for 9/11... It then evolved into what is now known as STB RECORDS! Established in 2002 by "Battle-Free" CEO Ciz, its core members at the time consisted of local Cheyenne rap artists Frijid & Villain. Over the years though many others have came and gone making STB one of the best top notch "Artist Development" labels in the whole state of Wyoming. Now as a record label known throughout the West & Southwest, its artists include; Ciz, Frijid, Zero! (Dozr Demolition, Ese Boracho, Cerote), Crazy MC, Str8Sicc, Konflict, and Teardrop a.k.a. LiL Dee, as well as the group as a whole "South Town Clika" and Frijid's production company (which serves as STB's in house for beats) the aptly named, "Cold-Hearted Productions". Now in 2008 STB has gone beyond Cheyenne with Ciz 'N Frijid in Atlanta, Cerote in Arizona, Konflict in Houston, LiL Dee in Casper, and Str8Sicc & Crazy MC still posted up in the "City of Tha C".
