Over the years that followed, Chris’ songwriting matured, taking influence from a wide range of styles including film scores and computer game music. Eventually the band’s sound developed in to its current state, with Splintered Soul now producing their own unique brand of Progressive Film-Score Metal. Even whilst still searching for a lead singer, the band was inundated with requests for an album despite the lack of vocals, which led to the release of an Instrumental EP in 2008 (currently available on iTunes). One year on, and the addition of vocalist Mandi Bailey means that the line-up is finally complete, resulting in the necessary combination of technical prowess and industry experience to take this band all the way. Thanks so much for checking out the Neonfly EP. Hopefully there'll be a properly recorded full album out by the end of this year...
Don't think we have anything booked at the Troc with Barbed at the moment but we'll be playing at the Beacon Court in Gillingham on the 30th for Help for Heroes.
