I see the potential in this revolutionary instrument to change rock and roll for the millions of kids in the Guitar Hero generation. The way Jimi Hendrix sounded when people first heard him, like a rocket to the moon.
Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be one of the best songs I've written so far. The chorus was scored for an entire violin section, however, in studio, I had one violinist, Jan "Yes I Can" Sullins. I asked her to single handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section. This is almost like telling someone, "Please jump rope one handed 10 times while monkeys nip at your feet." :-)
