Began listening to house music in 2007, began blogging about it in 2008, began mixing it in 2009.
Tracks from Paul van Dyk and mixes from DJ Sonix were my first introduction into dance music. From trance I found house with artists like Spencer & Hill and David Guetta. And it was at Guetta's first show in Houston that I realized that I wanted to learn how to mix. A month later, I was asked by Darryl Von Rokk to start contributing to Digital Eargasm, an established dance music blog created in early 2005. Today it reaches over one hundred thousand unique visitors a month, with thousands of more repeat hits. It was really after that when I started learning about dance music. Six months later I began mixing.
Currently, I'm a bedroom dj playing for friends on the weekend; mixing a lot of electro, house, pop and trance. I've got a Stanton mixer and CDJs and I'm ready to upgrade to Scratch Live. Spend a lot more time playing with mixing software. During the week, I'm usually waist deep in the latest tracks and proudly posting for Digital Eargasm.
