I have a great deal of interests. I enjoy meeting people, people watching, reading (again with the reading), watching some TV, watching movies, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, spending time with my husband, playing games on pogo.com, playing The Sims, shopping, looking for ways to decorate my home, playing with my grr-animals and I love to cook. I would love to have my own business. I work for a collection agency and I sell Avon. So, if you're in the Lexington area and you'd like to buy some Avon, let me know. I know I have more interests than this, but right now I can't think.
Music
I like all kinds of music from punk to rap to some older country to rock to soul to classical to big band type to musicals. Just to name a few: John Mayer, Counting Crows, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Harry Connick Jr, Frank Sinatra, George Jones, Conway Twitty, The Smiths, The Cure, The Sundays, 311, Staind, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Blues Traveler, Hoobastank, RHCP, Linkin Park, Korn, Green Day, Third Eye Blind, Matchbox Twenty, Paul Simon (with or without Art Garfunkel), The Doors, Tom Petty, Beck, The Beastie Boys, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Eve 6, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sublime, Alice in Chains, Godsmack, Coheed & Cambria, Weezer, Bush, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, Train, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam the list could literally go on for days. I do enjoy quite a bit of classical music even some opera from The Marriage of Figaro, Les Miserables, Phantom and even songs from some musicals like Grease.
Movies
I could talk about movies for days. I like almost all genre's. I'm gonna give a run down of some of the movies I like. I like just about anything Adam Sandler has ever been in: Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates, Spanglish, Billy Madison, The Waterboy. There are so many others, I just don't know where to begin. I think I'll start with my favorite Johnny Depp movies, which would be almost everything he's been in...Pirates of the Caribbean, From Hell, Finding Neverland, Chocolat, Sleepy Hollow, Donnie Brasco, The Ninth Gate, Blow, Edward Scissorhands. And on with the rest: Napoleon Dynamite, Under the Tuscan Sun, Bridget Jones (both), Notting Hill, Love & Basketball, Hustle & Flow, Scream Trilogy, Blade Trilogy, Godfather Trilogy, Goodfella's, Heat, Scarface, American History X, Ace Ventura, Almost Famous, Casino, Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, Jarhead, Crash, Deuce Bigalow, Anchorman, Waiting, Just Friends, Grandma's Boy, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Dead Poet's Society, Clerks, Mallrats, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, Fight Club, Elizabethtown, Dumb & Dumber, Forrest Gump, Harry Potter movies, JFK, Kalifornia, Jurassic Park, Lord of War, Knockaround Guys, Meet the Parents, Mona Lisa Smile, Something's Gotta Give, Ocean's 11, Pearl Harbor, Pulp Fiction, Ray, Robots, Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, all Star Wars Episodes, The Boondock Saints, The Breakfast Club, Pitchblack, Sweet Home Alabama, The Goonies, The Notebook, The Mummy, The Wizard of Oz, Titanic, Top Gun, Underworld (both), Van Helsing, Van Wilder, Walk the Line, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, When Harry Met Sally, White Noise, X-Men (all), You've Got Mail. There are so many others. I love Disney movies. The only ones I am not fond of are The Fox and the Hound, Bambi and Dumbo. Never did like those, but I love cartoons.
Television
Television is an evil contraption. I didn't watch much of it when my husband was still here, but since he's been gone, I've had it on quite a bit. I like The Soprano's, The L Word, I liked Six Feet Under when it was on, Sex and the City when it was on and Entourage. I like a lot of shows on discovery like Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Cash Cab. TLC's What Not to Wear. HGTV's House Hunters, My First Place, Designer's Challenge, Debbie Travis' Facelift. Food Network's anything with Rachael Ray, Emeril, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Giada, some Molto Mario, Tyler Florence (he's pretty cute), can't stand Sandra Lee. I watch a lot of re-runs on TV Land, TNT and TBS. I don't have any shows that I really keep up with unless they are on HBO or Showtime.
Books
John Saul, Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Laurell K Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks, Maeve Binchy. I mostly enjoy reading horror or suspense thrillers or anything dealing with vampires, werewolves or witches...
Heroes
Jukebox Hero!!!! If I had to say that I had heroes, it would probably be my parents... They've been married for over 40 years, raised 5 kids and are still married and happy. They've survived my dad's open-heart surgery, pancreatitis and numerous other ailments with love and support. I don't know too many people more heroic than that.
Also, I want to thank every man and woman out there fighting for our freedom. They are also my hero, without them, where would we all be? My husband is also my hero. He's sacrificing a whole year of his life to support the war effort. Let's all keep these people in our prayers.
About me: Well, I'm happily married to my best friend. We've known each other for 8 years and we've been together for 4 of those. I can't begin to describe how he makes me feel. He makes me feel that I can be myself no matter what and he can be himself as well. I can honestly say that I have never been happier in my life. I also enjoy books, movies, music, spending time with family and friends. I collect lots of junk, I enjoy writing, and spending too much time on the internet. I'm currently on a journey within myself to become a better person. Right now I feel more at peace than I have in a long time. I know it sounds cheesy but it works for me.

Sometimes I think I should have been born in the 50's or 60's. I would love to have met Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra -- all members of the Rat Pack, and JFK.

Actually you know what, the girl I take him to has her Daycare right down the street from CBS. Its back behind Eastland and Cozmo LOVES it. Her name is Jill Devary and the name of the Daycare is Poochies Plus. I just called her and she said 3 dogs for a whole day (which is considered 5+ hours) would be 45.00 a day or a 1/2 day (5 hours less) is 24.00 a day. You should try it, the'll LOVE it!!!
