Sweet but Deadly is a collective of DJs and musicians that organise clubnights, gigs, and special events for fans of 1950s and 1960s music. We''re talking BOOGALOO, GIRL GROUPS, MOD JAZZ, NORTHERN SOUL, REGGAE, RHYTHM & BLUES, ROCKSTEADY, SKA, TAMLA MOTOWN, BEAT, DOO-WOP, FREAKBEAT, GARAGE-PUNK, PSYCHEDELIA, ROCK'N'ROLL, ROCKABILLY, SUNSHINE POP, SURF & more!!The group began in 2005 and is ever changing and evolving, but at its helm is music devotee and vinyl obsessive Phil Moore. Mods, rockers, hipsters, soulies, skinheads, garage-freaks, swirly-folk, and all-round GOLDEN AGE music fans are all here. With plenty going on there is something for everyone, so get involved and hear some of the best music of yesterday and watch some of the best bands of tomorrow!

This band are the kings of sleazy rock'n'roll, take the raw urgency of Johnny Burnette Trio, the savage sounds of Link Wray and raise it on a diet of low budget b-movies, sexploitation flicks and juvenile delinquency and you almost have it.
We wanted them to play at our 3rd birthday party last year but they were booked 6 months up in advance so we had to wait our turn for the sleazy sounds! Be sure you don't miss this one!
As well as the band we will be spinning the usual blend of rockn'roll / garage / frat / surf instrumentals / r'n'b and other oddballs that seem to fit the night.

After selling out The 100 Club last week The Jim Jones Revue headline The Rock’n’Roll Circus at Inn On The Green in Ladbroke Grove this Friday (19 June). This will be our last London show until we tour the UK in October......
Tickets on the door only so make sure you turn up early in your best rockin' shoes!!!
