Being outdoors...gardening, walking, hiking, riding bike trails, playing with my daughter, hanging out with the neighbors having a few beers by the fire, Photography. I recently started drinking wine. So, I'm always looking for suggestions on new wines to try.
I loved my trip to the Pacific Northwest and plan to make it there again SOON! I would love to call Seattle or it's surroundings "HOME" one day. In fact...I know I most likely will...even if it's a second home.

Into The Wild soundtrak (please listen to it), .... THE STORY OF CHRISTOPHER MCCANDLESS aka ALEXANDER SUPERTRAMP AND THIS MUSIC COULDN'T BE MORE PERFECTLY FIT. BEAUTIFUL WORK.
Paolo Nutini, and Jon McLaughlin.
I fought it for years (for fear of being on some bandwagon)...but my husband has turned me into a big time PJ Fan. I don't think there is a day that goes by that we don't listen to or have a conversation about them. If there was a Pearl Jam trivia contest...My husband would crush most. I, if you haven't noticed...admire Eddie Vedder. He is my choice for perfect voice, and story telling extraordinaire. And he's quite easy on the eyes : )
Gotta love Jack Johnson, ColdPlay, U2, The Fray, Raconteurs, Jet, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Staind, Disturbed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Audioslave, System of a Down, , Tool, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Madonna, Bon Jovi, John Mayer, Steve Miller, James Taylor,Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Neil Young, Bee Gee's, Doobie Bros, Guns-n-Roses, Aerosmith...It goes on and on and on...

My favorite Wanderer...
"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
— Chris McCandless
About me: MY LIFE IN 2008 -
Favorite Quotes ~All that is sweet, delightful, and amiable in this world, in the serenity of the air, the fineness of seasons, the joy of light, the melody of sounds, the beauty of colors, the fragrancy of smells, the splendor our precious stones, is nothing else but Heaven breaking through the veil of this world, manifesting itself in such a degree and darting forth in such variety so much of its own nature.

I need at least 8 hours of sleep or I cannot function. I love and need coffee….every morning. You don’t want to other me without it. If you want me to be somewhere on time...you better lie to me by a half hour's time. If you want me there at noon...say 11:30. I was born late...and you know the saying.
A good day for me is sharing a good cup of coffee and conversation with friends. Finding time to laugh a little, share stories, and learn something new about each other...Although..these days... it seems people are too busy for that and your lucky if they remember you in a forwarded email. It's a shame really :(
I'm a full time mom to a beautiful little girl named Alexa. And wife to my wonderful husband Alan.
I like to do lots of outdoor activities as well as home improvement projects. It keeps me pretty busy.
I like my house to be neat. I spend most of my day trying to get it that way...most times, it's a failed attempt..if it does manage to get clean... it never stays that way for very long. I LOVE TO GARDEN, creating flower beds, mowing the lawn and other yard work is my only alone time. It's when I get to be by myself and think.
I probably look like that tacky yard ornament where the lady is bent over with her big ass sticking up in the garden. lol!
I love music and dancing and making up silly songs for my daughter. I swear like a sailor(I try not to around Alexa, but and occasional slip happens) and I drink a glass of wine (or two) almost every night.
I USUALLY COME OFF AS A SUPER BITCH...can't help it people...sorry! I have a hard time liking people from first meeting. I usually won't like you until after I have known you long enough or been around you enough to know the real you. Weird...I know. But, I at least I am honest.
Now to the important stuff......
THEY ARE MY JOY IN THIS WORLD....MY REASON FOR BEING
I have been married to my wonderful husband Alan for 4 years now. We married in October of 2003. He is my best friend and the best daddy a little girl could ask for. I am grateful that he is able to solely provide for our family financially so that I may stay home with our little one.
This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
Who I'd like to meet:
I have a little obsession with someone...can you guess who?...lol!
Eddie Vedder!!!( He's in this little band called Pearl Jam...lol!) He is a simply wonderful, creative and caring human being. Living life on his terms. Loved by many. He has beautiful voice and can tell a story through song better than any other artist I'm aware of. It's hard to find pictures of Eddie smiling. But man can his smile warm up my heart. It is a contagiously wonderful site. Ok , I gotta stop...lump in my throat.
You belong in London, but you belong in many cities... Hong Kong, San Francisco, Sidney. You fit in almost anywhere.
And London is diverse and international enough to satisfy many of your tastes. From curry to Shakespeare, London (almost) has it all!

True Surfer Chick!! Where's the bikini? And why was Alan telling her to get back here? It's just water!!!! And man did she get wet~ I remember when John, my oldest, got in the water, he was like 2, took right to it. Yet, instead of the 1st sandbar he would end up on the 2nd sandbar. Give me a heart attack! Still does. Both the boys were in the ocean by the time they were 2. Really before, I was in the ocean during pregnancy. I do hope ya'll had a wonderful time. I liked the vid of u just chilling watching the water. It's an awesome feeling~~like all your worries can just get washed away. Ride that wave!! Can u believe it's only 20 more days til Bmore? I am so excited. Still waiting for that grandbaby to pop out. She is taking her time, the baby not the momma. She has to make her grand appearance soon...I have concerts to attend!!
